
Edward Boyko, MD has received the Kelly M. West Award from the American Diabetes Association. The award is given in memory of Kelly M. West, widely regarded as the “father of diabetes epidemiology,” to an individual who has made significant contributions to the field of diabetes epidemiology.
In October 2012, Drs. Murray Raskind and Elaine Peskind, along with their study team members, received the Department of the Army Commander’s Award for Public Service.
