2026 National VA Research Week will be observed May 11-15, 2026.
Last year, we celebrated 100 years of VA Research, a century of work built around one purpose: bettering the lives of Veterans. Now we’re turning the page to an exciting new chapter. With that in mind, the theme for the 2026 National VA Research Week couldn’t be more fitting: Launching into the Future of Veterans’ Care.
VA’s Office of Research & Development Research Week Kick-Off Award Ceremony will be live streamed on May 12th at 1 PM ET (10 AM PT) via the ORD website.
Local events are happening at VA Puget Sound in building 101. The plans for the week are as follows (subject to change):
Monday, May 11:
- VA Research Posters on display in the lobby of bldg. 101 all week
- More information regarding posters will come out next week
Tuesday, May 12:
- R&D Admin is hosting the monthly potluck in 101 1E80 & 1E90
- Join us for a potluck chili bar and GAMES with PRIZES!
- Research Coordinator Network Opportunity (in-person)
